In the Concrete Garden, flowers grow where most people believe nothing should survive.

Beneath the cracked streets of Washington Heights lives Senior Deep Root—an ancient presence whose roots carry the memories, lessons, and stories of generations who learned how to grow through hardship.

Through the voices of Benson, Vernon, and The Curator, Concrete Flowers 1: Senior Deep Root Edition invites readers into a symbolic garden where every flower represents a human experience:

• Shadow Root — the pain we carry but rarely speak about• MemoryStone — the truths and stories that shape who we are• Sky Shield — the unseen protection that guides us• Young Flowers — the future growing from the wisdom of the past

Set in the spirit of Washington Heights, the Concrete Garden is a place where life, struggle, imagination, and hope intertwine. Each story explores emotional lessons about resilience, memory, love, survival, and the quiet strength found in community.

Written in the immersive style of Poetic Cinema, this book is not simply read—it is experienced. The stories unfold like a film inside the reader’s mind, allowing children and adults alike to discover the deeper meaning hidden beneath the surface.

Concrete Flowers 1 is the beginning of a powerful journey through the Concrete Garden series, where every root holds a story and every flower reminds us that even in the hardest places…

something beautiful can grow.
