Ghettos Around the Globe — The Hidden Boardby Vernon Snell(Poetic Cinema Studio)

Ghettos Around the Globe — The Hidden Board is a Poetic Cinema graphic narrative that blends comic storytelling, cinematic writing, and philosophical observation to explore patterns of power, media, and systemic influence across cities around the world.

The story follows a team known as the Ghetto Heroes League, a group of urban protectors who defend their neighborhoods while investigating a disturbing discovery:

The same problems appear in ghettos everywhere.

Different countries.Different languages.Different cultures.

Yet the same patterns of drugs, policing, media narratives, and economic struggle repeat across the globe.

Rather than simply fighting street crime, the heroes begin asking a deeper question:

Who built the board that the streets are forced to play on?
